Backwater Blues Band

I was born in Guam in 1972. I started playing guitar at age 15 and was very active in my High School music program called Showcase, directed by Gerry Skora. I played in my share of garage bands, pop-rock and hard rock bands before joining the BBB in 2001.

My first exposure to blues music was when I attended the New Orleans Jazz Heritage Festival in 1995. I have been an avid blues and jazz music lover since (real jazz, not smooth jazz).

My hobbies include working on my new “fixer-upper” house, good beers, fine wines, and of course music.
